Refined Rustic Retreat

We’re so excited to share the featured article: Refined Rustic Retreat, originally published in Lake & Home Magazine, April/May 2024 edition.

This home embodies craftsmanship. Our natural stone is featured throughout the interior and exterior of this beautiful rustic estate. The blend of stone is a custom blend sourced from Colorado and Oklahoma. More specifically, it’s a mixture of four quarzitic sandstones: Mission Springs Web Wall, Chestnut Hill Castle Rock, Black Hills Rustic, and Willow Brook Blue Castle Rock.

Hedberg Home Brick + Stone also supplied flagstones for flooring in the Colorado room, called “Sunset Silver Quartzite.”

The homeowners chose to have dramatic outcropping boulders as hearthstones, which were sourced from a quarry in Oklahoma and custom-cut here in Minnesota.
