Hedberg Home Brick + Stone is a proud sponsor of the Pillsbury Castle Project. This month they are relaunching the “Showcase Home” program after a 7-year hiatus. Design Home 2024 is an ASID MN Showcase.

Experience the transformation of the Pillsbury Castle Project as we celebrate the best of remodeling inspiration, interior design, and preservation craft with the ASID Design House 2024.

Over the past two decades, talented ASID MN designers have collaborated to present stunning Design Homes — formerly known as the “Showcase Home” — and the Pillsbury Castle Project relaunches this program after a seven-year hiatus.e

Hedberg Home Brick + Stone is proud to partner in renovating this historic building. The Pillsbury Castle Project asked us to identify, source, and re-produce the limestone arches at the entry, limestone window casings, and sills. Additionally, multiple large window headers had cracked from the building settling over the years and needed to be replaced. The challenge was that the original Platteville Stone from 130 years ago was no longer available. Our experts at Hedberg Brick + Stone were able to source some Platteville raw material and have it fabricated by LBM Fabrication in Wisconsin to custom-fit the original. This is one example of how we innovate to solve challenges in the industry that many others cannot.

We are thrilled to support this architectural marvel, located in the lively Whittier Neighborhood of Minneapolis.
